Purpose and project planning<\/p><\/td>

Purpose: To study the role of epicardial fat-mediated inflammation in the complex process of atheromatous plaque vulnerabilisation, using an innovative solution for quantification of the local inflammation at the site of the epicardial fat surrounding coronary arteries, based on advanced techniques of CCTA, artificial intelligence and cloud computing.<\/p>

Main objectives<\/p><\/td>

1) To demonstrate the role of regional epicardial fat, surrounding coronary segments with atheromatous plaques, in the complex process of plaque vulnerabilisation<\/p>

2) To demonstrate the correlation between the amount of global and regional epicardial fat and serum biomarkers of systemic inflammation<\/p>

3) To test new computational imaging solutions, including the ones based on radiomics approach, for characterization of CT vulnerability features and epicardial fat inflammation<\/p>

4) To develop and test AI-based algorithms for predicting the risk associated with increased inflammation at the level of epicardial fat and with vulnerability features, to validate their role as new imaging markers of CV risk.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Proiectul a dus la dezvoltarea \u0219i implementarea unor noi tehnologii imagistice bazate pe inteligen\u021b\u0103 artificial\u0103 pentru evaluarea riscului asociat pl\u0103cilor ateromatoase coronariene, integr\u00e2nd \u00een algoritmul de evaluare a riscului \u0219i inflama\u021bia de la nivelul \u021besutului epicardic din jurul arterelor coronare. Astfel, proiectul a generat urm\u0103toarele rezultate:<\/p>
