Kapalo, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation in the Humanities at University College Cork, Ireland, a historian and ethnographer of religion widely recognized for his research on ethnic and religious minorities and folk religion in Central and Eastern Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting took place in the context of the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities, aimed at developing academic collaboration within the Ioan Petru Culianu Institute for Religious Studies at G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures, as well as strengthening the Master\u2019s program History of Religions \u2013 Religion and Politics.
