Our university hosted on March 26\u201327, 2026, the transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ AVTIA project \u2013 Audiovisual Translation for Inclusion and Accessibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
International partners worked to review the project\u2019s progress, the results achieved so far, and to set future directions, with a focus on developing training materials for students, alongside the drafting of policy recommendations in the field of accessibility. The agenda included working sessions, presentations, and exchanges of best practices aimed at strengthening collaboration and promoting inclusion through audiovisual translation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The AVTIA project, coordinated by GE Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures, project manager Associate Professor Dr. Cristina Nicolae, is carried out in collaboration with international partner, academic staff with expertise in translation and audiovisual translation, from West University of Timi\u0219oara, University of Parma (Italy), University of Lleida (Spain), University of Belgrade (Serbia), and Pixel (Italy). It is addressed to academic staff and trainers in philological studies, undergraduate and master\u2019s students enrolled in translation (audiovisual) programs, master\u2019s students and translators seeking to further specialize in audiovisual translation for inclusion and accessibility, as well as decision-makers in higher education.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
