Starting on 1 July 2026, the Sports Medicine Office will operate within G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The office, established with the support of the Targu Mures County Emergency Clinical Hospital (SCJU Targu Mures) and the Mures County Council (CJ Mures), is the only sports medicine unit of this kind in the county and it will operate on the ground floor of the Advanced Medical and Pharmaceutical Research Center, on the central UMPhST campus, in a modern space adapted for specialized medical consultations, examinations, and evaluations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The activity will be carried out by specialist physicians in sports medicine and specialists in sports physiology, providing services dedicated to the assessment and monitoring of athletes, the issuance of fitness certificates, injury prevention, and the support of medical safety in sports activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through its collaboration with the UMPhST Functional Investigations Laboratory, the office will enable an integrated approach to performance, physical effort, recovery, and athletes’ health.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
