All these aspects require a high level of theoretical and practical interdisciplinary knowledge, obtained by correlation of both physico-chemical and medical-biological issues. As a result of its academic training, the pharmacist will have the professional profile which certifies his authority both in the analytical and toxicological domain and in the clinical and pharmacological one, as well as the achievement of a special social position (satisfying the population needs for health information, education and prophylaxis). At the end of the pharmacy study program, the graduate student will have the following skills validated by the final exams:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Designing, formulation, preparation and conditioning of medicines, food supplements, cosmetics and other health products;<\/li>\n<li>Storage, preservation, distribution of medicines, food supplements, cosmetics and other health products;<\/li>\n<li>Release\/Delivery of medicines, food supplements, cosmetics and other health products and pharmaceutical care;<\/li>\n<li>Analysis and control of substances, medicines, food supplements, cosmetics and other health products;<\/li>\n<li>Management, Marketing and Health Administration;<\/li>\n<li>Consulting and expertise in medicines, food supplements, cosmetics and other health products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Medical cosmetics and the technology of cosmetic product study program\u00a0<\/strong>is a complex learning approach regarding skin beauty and health, combining medical methods and techniques with cosmetic treatments. The study program aims to train professionals in an evolving labor market, namely cosmetic industry, by having:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>solid theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of cosmetic product;<\/li>\n<li>knowledge of chemistry, technology and analysis of cosmetic product;<\/li>\n<li>practical skills necessary to achieve simple procedures for body beauty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Medicinal chemistry program<\/strong>\u00a0is focused on the discovery, development, identification and interpretation of the action of biologically active compounds at the molecular level.<\/p>\n<p>The graduate student has the following competencies:<\/p>\n<p>Structural characterization of chemical compounds, knowledge of analytical methods for their complex characterization in various matrices (mixtures of substances, biological fluids, tissues, natural extracts, intermediates, finished products);<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to use equipment specific to physico-chemical, clinical \/ medical analysis laboratories, the ability to perform and apply methods of separation and analysis in a clinical, pharmaceutical or chemical laboratory.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate with concepts regarding the structure and reactivity of chemical, biochemical compounds and parameters monitored in clinical laboratory tests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students interested in research are involved in research activities of the students research groups organized in each department. The teaching and research members of these groups prepare students for scientific research, help them carry out projects, and encourage them to present their results at scientific meetings.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technological chemistry program<\/strong>\u00a0involves:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and development of technological methods for obtaining chemical compounds or products;<br \/>Control of technological flows;<\/li>\n<li>Development, optimization and validation of analysis methods, procedures and techniques for qualitative and quantitative analysis;<\/li>\n<li>Consultancy and expertise in the field of products obtained through technological flow;<\/li>\n<li>Organization, management and marketing of production units;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of notions of legislation and environment on technological flows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pharmacy assistance (in Bistrita) <\/strong>Program provides graduates with essential theoretical and practical knowledge about over-the-counter (OTC) medication, food supplements, cosmetic products, and other health-related products.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Graduates can practice their profession in various fields, such as community pharmacies, drugstores, hospital pharmacies, analytical laboratories, and the pharmaceutical industry. The bachelor&#8217;s degree allows them to pursue further education through master&#8217;s programs in the pharmaceutical field and related areas, with the possibility of eventually accessing doctoral studies.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nutrition and dietetics <\/strong>provide graduates with theoretical and practical knowledge related to healthy eating, nutritional status assessment, the development of personalized dietary plans, and disease prevention through nutrition. The master program is oriented towards science, research and modern applications, providing knowledge support for quality assurance of pharmaceuticals, food and environmental factors. Pharmacovigilance and regulation, <\/strong>in Romanian language &#8211; aims to train master students in the field of pharmacovigilance and clinical trials involving drugs, specialists who will improve the medical system through active involvement in monitoring the efficacy and safety of pharmacotherapy, critical assessment of drug intoxications, identification and reporting of adverse reactions, development of substance misuse reduction plans and optimization of therapy on pharmacokinetic, clinical and paraclinical criteria. Pharmacovigilance and regulation<\/u><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Doctoral studies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Doctoral studies provide improvement and extension of the graduate student\u2019s training by high quality courses, seminars and scientific research in areas such as Drug Analysis and Control, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Drug Industry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Botany.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Postgraduate studies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Residency<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Residency is a specific form of postgraduate education for pharmacists, providing them with the necessary training in order to obtain one of the specialties included in the Nomenclature of Pharmaceutical Specialties for medical care network.
