These activities are organized and operated in accredited higher education institutions, following evaluation by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education based on its own framework methodology (cf. Code: UMFST-REG-101 Edition 02). The PPLR program operates legally in accordance with <strong>Order no. 5516 of July 26, 2024, regarding the organization and conduct of the preparatory year of Romanian language for foreign post-university level in Romania.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Specific Objectives and Linguistic Competencies descriptors<\/u>(according to CEFR):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Formation and development of the four components of linguistic communication competence in Romanian (linguistic competence and pragmatic competence, sociolinguistic competence, intercultural competence) within the limits of the B1 reference level of the CEFR.<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out various communicative activities of reception, production, interaction in oral and\/or written form necessary for the formation of linguistic communication competence in Romanian within the limits of the B1 reference level of the CEFR.<\/li>\n<li>Focusing the teaching-learning process on the communication needs in Romanian language of an independent user (according to CEFR) in various areas of social life: personal domain, public domain, educational domain, and professional domain.<\/li>\n<li>Acquiring professional linguistic communication competence in Romanian at an intermediate level (B1, according to CEFR) by familiarizing students with the specific language features and through the integrated use of content specific
