The fourth edition of the UMFST-UMCH Research Day for Medical Students took place on May 8, 2026, at the campuses in Hamburg and Targu Mures, bringing together students, professors, and international guests in a scientific event dedicated to medical research and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event welcomed international guests from the University of Bordeaux, France – Andreas Bikfalvi – and from Loma Linda University Health, USA: Walter Sackett, Chien-Shing Chen, and Mark Reeves. The presence of the delegation from the United States provided an excellent opportunity to visit our university, and discuss potential academic and medical collaboration opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UMFST-UMCH Research Day for Medical Students brought together 121 students enrolled in the Medicine programme in English, who presented their scientific papers. The event offered the opportunity to develop their research, communication, and presentation skills in front of a specialized audience.
