\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\u201dA new stage of engineering, a new face of engineering: Engineering+\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Engineering is a complex field of sciences. The process of defining it involves identifying the main directions of the world's evolution. Also, specialist analyses can lead to a change in the perception of engineering.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A few decades ago, engineering concerns were focused on a main element: the needs of society. But these changed from abstract concepts to a reality with much more complex issues in view of the newly emerging global challenges.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our community is determined to find solutions to these complicated problems and redefine the notion of engineering as a creative force due to our increased conviction in the power of technology and science.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The bio-nano-information revolution of the last two decades has discovered new and unprecedented resources that can be used. The development in information technology and computer science has enabled engineering to tackle problems at levels which were unconceivable only a decade ago: the design of incredibly advanced materials, devices and processes, as well as the dramatic changes of engineering concerns and applicability.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The general vision of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology is based on four fundamental pillars:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The technical philosophy of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology is \u201eEngineering +\u201d. This is an innovative concept that promotes the ability of interdisciplinary interaction in a broad spectrum of educational and scientific research areas and also emphasizes the strong innovative contribution of engineering in sciences and occupational fields.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The new evolutionary context currently characterizing engineering can be characterized by Engineering + {other field}<\/em>:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Engineering + medicine. <\/em>The evolution in the medical field is constant and the most spectacular due to the progress made in healthcare and the construction of medical devices. Our faculty has established a strong relationship with the medical field through an integrative multidimensional approach to technical and medical education. This allowed the implementation of new study programmes: medical engineering, medical informatics, bioinformatics.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Engineering + informatics.<\/em> This interdisciplinary relationship supports human services, creates continuously changing complex systems and makes life more interesting. The current global crisis underlines the importance of this combined approach.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Engineering + economy.<\/em> This is a natural combination that facilitates entrepreneurship, in any of its many domains. It is consistent with exponential technologies, whose balance state is continuously disrupted and requires constant technical and managerial updates.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Engineering + <\/strong>has become a faculty standard as it is a transformative feature that helps us perform.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dean <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
