The Architecture specialisation within George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Târgu Mureş is a 6-year undergraduate programme started in 2021. The programme was organised in partnership with Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urban Planning of Bucharest, and provides students with a solid foundation in the theory, design, and practice of architecture. The Bachelor’s and Master’s Architecture degree programmes in English offer a generous framework of university education for young people who are interested in this field. The programme is authorised by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education with a tuition capacity of 50 students a year. In cooperation with the programme faculty members with acknowledged professional and scientific skills, the educational process is carried out using the latest learning technologies, innovative teaching methods in order to respond to new requirements. The architectural education programme focuses on several areas including:

The Automation and Applied Informatics bachelor's degree program is organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of UMFST G.E. Palade Târgu Mureș. The AAI study program trains engineers for performing automation and applied informatics activities in order to conceive, design and automatically manage technological processes in different industrial branches.

Launched in 1984, the study program has operated continuously under different names (Automation, Automatics and Industrial Informatics), initially as part of the Sub-Engineering Institute in Târgu Mureș, and later on as part of the Faculty of Engineering. As a result of the educational studies being reorganized, the Automation and Applied Informatics study program has now become an university bachelor's degree program, engineering, full-time courses, 4 years, 240 credits, and currently has a tuition capacity of 60 students/year. The program has been regularly evaluated and recertified by ARACIS in 2008, 2013 and 2019.

The Energy Systems and Information Technology study program operates within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of UMFST G.E. Palade Târgu Mureș, ever since the year 2020. It is an ARACIS authorized program with a tuition potential of 60 students/year. The ETI bachelor's study program is focused on training highly educated specialists by providing professional competencies in the specialized field of energy engineering.

The Informatics study program operates within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of UMFST G.E. Palade Târgu Mureș. It is an ARACIS authorized program with a school tuition capacity of 75 students/year. The professional need for IT specialists and their numerous and increasing professional opportunities are also highlighted by a consistent recruitment of newly graduates within the labor market. The demand for specialists with highly qualified training and expertise is constantly expressed and favorably supported by the current regional and national economic situation. Undergraduate studies in Computer Science can be continued at the Master's level in Artificial Intelligence or Bioinformatics study programs and then on to doctoral studies.

Undergraduate studies in Computer Science can be continued at the Master's level in Artificial Intelligence or Bioinformatics study programs and then on to doctoral studies.

The dual major supresses two types of impostorship which can be found in the industrial management activity: "an engineer with no managerial skills" and "a manager who has no feel for the technological process". The combination between the engineer’s creative mind and the manager’s normative thinking is a binomial that transforms the managerial activity to day reality.

The Medical Engineering study program provides a generous university education for young people who are interested in applied engineering sciences but at the same time are passionate about medicine. It operates within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of UMFST G.E. Palade Târgu Mureș since the year of 2019. The study program is ARACIS authorized with a tuition capacity of 60 students/year. The educational curriculum is conceived in a medical - human - technology interdisciplinary framework and provides graduates with expertise in the two fields of Medical Engineering (according to BMESBiomedical Engineering Society):

• Medical devices: equipment, supplies and technologies, including information technology, used for the diagnosis, investigation, monitoring, treatment and rehabilitation of patients;
• Clinical engineering: design, development, support and services for medical devices and their reliable and safe functioning in accordance with medical device standards.

The educational process is carried out with teaching staff with recognized professional and scientific skills - engineers, physicians, computer scientists, pharmacists, using the latest learning technologies, innovative teaching methods and digital information resources.

The MSc degree programme in Artificial Intelligence aims to prepare specialists in the field of Computer Science at level 7 of the EQF (Cycle II Bologna – Master's studies). These specialists will be capable of utilizing valuable technical scientific and cultural-humanistic knowledge to contribute to the technological, economic, and socio-cultural progress of Romanian society and the contemporary world, integrating into the knowledge society. In line with the university's general policy, the programme prepares specialists for rapid integration into the labor market and who will decisively contribute to the development of the information society and the knowledge society in Romania.

The Energy Systems Management (MSE) master study program operates within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of UMFST "G.E.Palade" of Târgu Mureș starting in 2008

The program is accredited by ARACIS with a tuition capacity of 60 students/year. The orientation of the Energy Systems Management master's program is professionalization, through the acquisition of professional skills in the specialized field of energy engineering.
