LAUNCH OF THE COMPETITION FOR FINANCING GRANTS FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH -2025

The "George Emil Palade" University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology from Târgu Mureș informs the students who have the quality of JRA Dedicated member about launching the competition for obtaining grants for scientific research.

Eligibility Criteria (cumulative criteria):

-the applicant for the grant has bachelor or master student status at the UMFST G.E. Palade Târgu Mureș and is member of the Junior Researcher Academy Dedicated level; Junior Researcher Academy, nivelul Dedicated;

-the applicant within the proposed grant is coordinated by a tutor, employee of the UMFST G.E. Palade Tg. Mureș, who in any of these positions:

• University Assistant, Head of Works / University Lecturer, Associate professor, Professor, Research Assistant, Scientific Researcher, third degree Scientific Researcher, second degree Scientific Researcher, first degree Scientific Researcher;

-the applicant of the proposed grant has not implemented any JRA grant for Dedicated level;

-the content of the proposed grant will represent:

• an original research, applied research or innovation project for scientific research grants.

The file is drawn up in accordance with art. 7 of the Methodology for financing the grants for scientific research initiation and for scientific research grants within Junior Researcher Academy, Regulation code: UMFST-REG-106, Edition 02.

Applicants are required to send to: jra_granturi_cercetare@umfst.ro the following documents:

1. -Signed grant application, filled out in accordance with Annex 02 (Grant application for scientific research grants within Junior Researcher Academy), in English language ( unprotected PDF file – a PDF file generated from an editable file, not a scanned document);
2. -declarations filled out according to Annex 03 and 04 (signed and scanned); 3 and 4(signed and scanned);
3. -A Certificate issued by the Dean's Office which confirms the applicant’s student statute and enrollment in the current academic year as bachelor or master student, as well as the fact that the applicant has not repeated any year of study due to the accumulation of an insufficient number of ECTS for promotion (signed and scanned).

The documents (signed and scanned in PDF format) are sent by e-mail to the address: jra_granturi_cercetare@umfst.ro until June 11, 2025.In correspondence, in the subject line please specify: Research Grant File.

The list of the projects accepted for financing is established taking into consideration the allocated budget and the obtained scores. Projects that obtained a score less than 80 out of 100 are not going to be financed. The list of projects accepted for financing is going to be published on the website of UMFST G.E. Palade Târgu Mureș, section JRA Grants – Dedicated level.

June 23 – 25, 2025 – filing appeals

June 26, 2025 – analysis of appeals

June 27, 2025 – communication of final results
