A new international academic initiative

We are proud to be part of a newly accredited international Joint Master’s Program in International Business and Geopolitics!

UMFST is pleased to announce that the Joint Master’s Program in International Business and Geopolitics (EMDI BAG) has received official accreditation from the NVAO – The Accreditation Organization of the Netherlands and Flanders.

This 120 ECTS joint master’s program is offered in partnership with a strong international network of higher education institutions, combining expertise from Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Germany, Ireland, Finland, and China.

Using an interdisciplinary approach that blends international business, geopolitics, strategic intelligence, and global risk analysis, the program aims to prepare graduates to understand and navigate the complex relationship between global affairs and business decision-making.

The Joint Master’s Program in International Business and Geopolitics was developed as part of the DIVERSE Alliance, a European university alliance that includes 12 universities from 11 countries and connects over 150,000 students and 15,000 researchers and academic staff.

As a partner institution and one of the degree-awarding universities, George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Targu Mures is proud to contribute to this international academic initiative.
