Between May 25-29, 2026, the fourth edition of the ”Erasmus Staff Training Week” event took place, under the theme ”Innovative smart services and next-generation library spaces: design, transformation and user-centered innovation”, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program.

Participants from Italy, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Slovenia, Poland, and Kosovo gathered at G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures to explore the future of libraries in an increasingly digitalized, collaborative, and user-oriented environment.

The event included workshops, presentations, and networking sessions focused on innovative library services, artificial intelligence-based projects, digital archives, learning spaces, and the transformation of libraries into modern hubs for knowledge and collaboration.
