Are you a researcher, PhD candidate, or academic staff member carrying out your activity in French? This is an opportunity to present your research, expand your professional network, and contribute to the development of international scientific collaborations.
In November 2026, the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) will host the 5th edition of the Symposium of Francophone Scientific Research in Central and Eastern Europe, organized by the French Embassy in Romania and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), in collaboration with ASE, the Embassy of Switzerland in Romania, and the Embassy of Canada to Romania.
The event brings together the Francophone scientific community from Romania and the Central and Eastern European region, offering a framework for interdisciplinary dialogue, exchange of ideas, and strengthening of research partnerships. A special emphasis is placed on supporting young researchers, who will benefit from opportunities to present scientific results, exchange experiences, and develop academic communication skills.
Contributions are welcome at all stages of research—from exploratory projects and ongoing research to preliminary results or completed studies in the following fields:
- public health, biomedicine, and therapeutic innovations;
- materials, energy, and technological transition;
- digitalization, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence – ethical and pedagogical challenges;
- languages, communication, and knowledge circulation;
- societies, public policies, and global dynamics;
- environment, sustainability, and global risks.
Prior to the symposium, selected participants will benefit from an online preparation session dedicated to maximizing and promoting research results, and accepted papers will subsequently be published in digital volumes with an ISSN.
