The fifth edition of the International Conference “Semiosis in Communication”, themed “Medical Humanities: Bridges between Embodiment of Signs and Embodied AI”, is taking place from 21 to 23 May 2026 under the auspices of the International Association for Semiotic Studies.
The event brings together participants from 27 countries across five continents and includes 67 scientific papers.
The conference proposes an interdisciplinary reflection on how contemporary practices of meaning production and construction, shaped by the digital revolution and emerging technologies, are transforming human experience and contemporary communication.
The programme includes thematic panels, academic sessions, and presentations delivered by international keynote speakers, providing an ideal framework for the exchange of ideas, the development of academic collaborations, and the exploration of new research directions.
