The graduation ceremony for the UMPhST–UMCH Class of 2026 took place on Saturday, July 19, 2026, in Hamburg. The 103 graduates represent the second generation of doctors trained under the UMPhST–UMCH program launched in 2019.

The Next Generation is the name of this graduating class, expressing the rise of a new generation of medical professionals trained in Hamburg within a European academic framework.

UMPhST–UMCH, the Hamburg university campus of UMPhST, demonstrates that a Romanian university can establish a European model of medical education based on high standards and solid partnerships. Just seven years after its launch, this model has proven its maturity, showing that Romania can export not only doctors, but also higher education and institutional capacity.
