G.E. Palade of Targu Mures will host it’s first edition of the International Conference “Romanian-European Dialogue on Pulmonary Hypertension 2025: Partnership Between Experts and Patients,” an event that will bring together distinguished guests from Romania and Europe, academic staff, and opinion leaders in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) and Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH).
The conference will take place on November 21–22, 2025, at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and is addressed to cardiologists, pulmonologists, internists, family physicians, cardiovascular surgeons, healthcare professionals, researchers, patient representatives, and patient organizations.
The scientific event will place patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension at the center of the dialogue with clinical experts, imaging specialists, and researchers. The event layout includes “meet-the-patient/meet-the-expert” discussions, interactive panels, and real case studies, aiming to translate scientific evidence into truly patient-centered care.
The scientific program includes presentations on guideline updates, diagnosis and imaging, targeted therapies and interventional therapy (BPA), surgical treatment (PEA), rehabilitation, comorbidities, registries, real-life data, and patient-reported outcomes.
The event is accredited with CME (EMC) points by the Romanian College of Physicians (Colegiul Medicilor din România), and participation is free of charge. Registration can be completed by accessing the link. Enrollment is mandatory for session access and CME credits.
The scientific event is organized by the Adult Pulmonary Hypertension Treatment Center from Targu Mures, with the support of G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures, institutional partners, and the patient community.
