The aim of the program is to develop the future graduates’ teaching careers, as well as to prepare them pedagogically, psychologically and psycho-socially, training their pedagogical skills, methodology, evaluation, communication, identification and resolution of interpersonal conflicts/problem situations arising in the teaching process.

General Objectives
The initial formation and development of specialists in pre-school and early childhood education in a coherent approach, reflected by the university curriculum, in accordance with the National Framework of Qualifications for Higher Education.

Specific Objectives
The development of professional competencies specific to early childhood and preschool pedagogy, as well as transversal competencies, in accordance with the Operational System of Higher Education Qualifications in Romania.

PC 1. The development of training or educational programs for various age/training levels and different target groups.

PC2. The undertaking of activities related to the instructional-educational process in mandatory education

PC3. The evaluation of the learning processes, outcomes and progress of learners

PC4. The use of a managerial approach to the group of pupils, the learning process and age-specific learning/social integration activities of the target group.

PC5. The counselling, guidance and psycho-pedagogical assistance for various categories of persons/educational groups (pupils, families, teachers, employees, etc.)

PC6. The effective self-assessment and continuous improvement of professional practice and career development.

Transversal Competencies

TC1. The application of the principles and rules of professional ethics, based on clear values, in as per a specialist in educational sciences;

TC2. The effective cooperation in professional, interdisciplinary working teams specific to the development of projects and programs in the field of educational sciences;

TC3 The use of effective lifelong learning methods and techniques for continuous professional development and training.
