Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)
What are Blended Intensive Programmes? (BIP)?
A new opportunity of Erasmus+ 2021–2027 programme is the introduction of Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP). A BIP is a programme designed by higher education institutions from at least three Erasmus+ programme countries. A BIP includes both onsite activities lasting between 5 and 30 days, as well as a mandatory online component, for which the duration is not specified.
The coordinating higher education institution of the BIP usually also hosts onsite activities.
Students enrolled in a higher education institution holding the ECHE (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education) and pursuing studies aimed at obtaining a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree—or another qualification recognized at the higher education level—can participate in a BIP.
After completing a blended mobility (onsite and online), participants will receive a minimum of 3 ECTS credits.
No participation fee may be charged for the blended intensive programmes.
Physical participation is funded by the Erasmus+ program.
