The Department of Scientometric and University Ranking within the "George Emil Palade" University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences and Technology in Târgu Mureș was established in order to create an organizational and institutional framework in which the work team can find and apply methods, techniques and working procedures that lead to external confirmation of the university's excellence through its presence in international university rankings.
