G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures announces the operationalization of the “Hospital School,” an initiative dedicated to supporting students who, for medical reasons, are temporarily unable to attend classes in their home educational institutions.
The “Hospital School” is a pre-university education structure established within the university and operates in collaboration with the Targu Mures County Clinical Emergency Hospital, the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases and Transplantation Emergency Unit, and the Mures County Clinical Hospital.
The program is intended for high school students suffering from chronic diseases, malignant conditions, or other medical issues requiring hospitalization, treatment, or monitoring for a period longer than four weeks, and who, temporarily or permanently, cannot be educated in the schools in which they are enrolled.
Through this initiative, students are offered the opportunity to continue their educational path in a framework adapted to their medical condition and individual needs, facilitating their participation in the learning process and the completion of school assessments.
This initiative reflects the commitment of G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures to promoting educational inclusion and ensuring equitable access to education, contributing to the continuity of schooling and supporting the social and professional integration of young people in vulnerable situations.
