At the invitation of the Embassy of Romania in Germany, the Rector of G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures, Prof. dr. Leonard Azamfirei, participated in the period 19–20 June 2026 in the Academic Diaspora Forum in Berlin.

The event brought together Romanian doctors, university staff, researchers and professionals from Germany, in a dialogue about collaboration, knowledge transfer, best practices and joint projects between the academic diaspora and the professional and institutional environments in Romania.

Within the forum, the UMPhST-UMCH campus in Hamburg and the University Clinical Hospital “George Emil Palade” were presented, landmarks of international development and of the university’s innovation strategy.
