This master’s program falls within the field of Sport Science and Physical Education. Throughout the program, students develop skills and competencies for enhancing the teaching process in Physical Education, as well as expertise in sports counseling for high-performance and elite athletes.

The program has a strong vocational orientation, providing graduates with diverse career opportunities in both physical education teaching and high-performance sports.

Professional competences

  • designing, researching and developing physical education and sports activities at secondary and post-secondary levels
  • identifying and organising physical education and sports activities at secondary and post-secondary levels, with a focus on implementing an integrated curriculum and fostering an interdisciplinary learning environment
  • conducting comprehensive evaluations of physical education and sports activities at secondary and post-secondary levels, including assessing physical growth and development, motor skills, and attitudes towards independent exercise
  • analysing the management of groups and educational projects in physical education and sports, including describing and demonstrating operational systems for different age groups
  • providing guidance, support and socio-professional reintegration for target groups involved in specific programmes, assessing participants’ levels of skill and preparedness
  • applying and managing advanced statistical methods based on indicators specific to physical education and sports activities at secondary and post-secondary levels
