The Master’s programme Innovative Business in Tourism and Services provides an academic learning environment, both theoretical and practical, and offers opportunities to develop professional, social, and personal skills and abilities necessary for:

  • enhancing the competitiveness of services and tourism through community-based initiatives focused on innovative business;
  • adapting to current economic and social trends;
  • applying advanced quantitative analysis methods and developing business strategies in tourism and services that align with contemporary realities, trends, and the socio-economic characteristics of the region. 

 

The courses promote and develop teamwork, debate, project work, and applied research, supporting the achievement of community objectives through leadership and quality—essential elements for transforming Romania’s tourism and services sector from an efficiency-driven economy into an innovation-driven one.

Professional competences

  • thorough knowledge of the field of innovative business in tourism and services, from theoretical, methodological, and practical perspectives
  • use of specialised knowledge to explain, interpret, and adapt to various situations or phenomena within broader contexts related to the field
  • integrated use of theoretical and methodological concepts for the effective resolution of issues specific to business administration
  • relevant and specific application of evaluation criteria and methods to substantiate and formulate optimal decisions
  • development of professional and/or research projects, making innovative use of a wide range of quantitative and qualitative methods.

  • carrying out complex professional tasks under conditions of autonomy and professional independence
  • assuming leadership roles or managerial functions within professional groups or institutions/organisations
  • self-monitoring of the learning process, identifying training needs, and engaging in reflective analysis of one’s own professional activity.
