Description

The Master’s programme in Physical Therapy and Functional Rehabilitation is organised within the Faculty of Medicine at the G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures. Its mission is to train highly qualified specialists in physical therapy and functional rehabilitation, capable of contributing to the improvement of patients’ quality of life through evidence-based therapeutic interventions, modern technologies, and interdisciplinary approaches.

Professional competences

  • functional assessment of patients using modern clinical and instrumental methods;
  • designing personalised therapeutic intervention plans tailored to individual patient needs;
  • applying advanced physical therapy techniques (kinesiotherapy, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, therapeutic massage, etc.);
  • monitoring and adjusting therapeutic interventions according to patient progress and established objectives;
  • using modern equipment and technologies in functional rehabilitation (e.g. medical robotics, virtual reality, biofeedback);
  • collaborating with physicians, psychologists, nurses, and other specialists in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care;
  • applying ethical and professional principles in interactions with patients and colleagues;
  • participating in scientific research and innovation activities in medical rehabilitation.
