Description

The Medical Humanities master’s programme, taught in Romanian, offers an interdisciplinary approach, integrating the humanities, social sciences, and medical sciences. The programme is grounded in global discussions regarding the contribution of the humanities to the education of healthcare professionals, addressing concerns over recent decades about the negative impact of technological advancement on medical practice. It promotes a humanistic perspective on the ethical, social, and psychological issues of medicine and healthcare. The programme aims to develop competencies that enable graduates to understand patients holistically, considering not only their illness but also their needs and social context.
