Professional skills

• The use of mathematics, physics, measurement technology, technical graphics, mechanical, chemical, electrical and electronic engineering knowledge within systems engineering;
• Operating with fundamental concepts in computer science, information and communication technology;
• The use of automation basics, process modeling, simulation, identification and analysis methods, of computer-aided design techniques;
• Designing, implementing, testing, operating and maintaining general purpose and dedicated equipment systems, including computer networks, for automation and applied computing applications;
• Software application development and algorithm and automated structures implementation, by using project management concepts, coding and programming frameworks and technologies based on microcontrollers, signal processors, programmable logic controllers, embedded systems;
• Applying legal, economic, marketing, business and quality assurance knowledge both in an economic and managerial context.

Transversal skills

• The following, in compliance with the relevant legislation, of intellectual property rights (including technology transfer), of product licensing methods, of principles, rules and values in the professional ethics’ code, as part of one’s own rigorous, efficient and responsible work strategy;

• Identifying ongoing training opportunities and making effective use of training resources and techniques for one’s professional development.
