Description

The Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (PFAC) study program operates within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of UMFST G.E. Palade Târgu Mureș starting in 2009. The program is accredited by ARACIS with a tuition capacity of 30 students/year. The orientation of the Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing master’s program is professionalization, through the acquisition of professional skills in the specialized field of industrial engineering.

The need for this line of education derives from the existence of a permanent demand for specialists in the CAD/CAM field, both by Romanian and foreign companies. The specialization enjoys appreciation from the economic environment.

  • Knowledge and use of geometric modeling software;
  • Development of engineering design applications;
  • Computer-aided design of punches and molds for injecting plastics;
  • Designing technologies on numerical control machine tools.

  • Taking on leadership roles / positions in the activity of professional groups or institutions;
