The Energy Systems Management (MSE) master study program operates within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of UMFST „G.E.Palade” of Târgu Mureș starting in 2008

The program is accredited by ARACIS with a tuition capacity of 60 students/year. The orientation of the Energy Systems Management master’s program is professionalization, through the acquisition of professional skills in the specialized field of energy engineering.

Professional skills

  • Knowledge and use of the principles of operation and the impact on the environment of the production, transport and distribution systems of electrical and thermal energy.
  • Knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of technological processes and the operation of electrical, thermal and hydraulic energy use systems.
  • Knowledge of the basic elements related to the management of energy systems, correlated with the legislation in the field and with the principles of the energy market.
  • Knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of designing, modeling of operating regimes and operation optimization of the power systems.

Transversal skills

  • Performing complex professional tasks under conditions of autonomy and professional independence;
  • Assuming leadership roles / positions in the activity of professional groups or institutions.
  • Self-control of the learning process, diagnosis of training needs, reflective analysis of one’s own professional activity.
