Public Administration and European Policies is a master’s programme dedicated to training experts in public management and the analysis of policies at the European level. It is intended for graduates seeking careers in public institutions, European organisations, or non-governmental organisations. Research within the programme focuses on examining European decision-making processes and developing strategies to enhance governance and public service delivery.

Professional competences

  • appropriate use of concepts, theories, and fundamental principles governing the organisation and functioning of administrative and public safety structures
  • application of techniques and tools specific to the field of expertise
  • identification and application of Romanian and European legislation in the fields of local policing and public safety, including the initiation and drafting of proposals for normative acts in the domain
  • interpretation, correlation, and comparison of legal institutions within the field of expertise, considering both national and European law
  • application of the knowledge required to collect data and information on specific issues, as well as the structured oral and written communication of messages related to professional matters
  • organisation, planning, and coordination of specialised activities, as well as the application of legal provisions within the respective domains.

 

Transversal competences

  • performing professional tasks efficiently and responsibly, in accordance with the deontological rules specific to the field
  • applying effective teamwork techniques (including interdisciplinary collaboration), respecting hierarchical structures
  • effective use of communication resources and professional information and training sources, both in Romanian and in an internationally recognised foreign language.
