At the Faculty of International Medical Studies, G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures, the first generation of students in the French-taught Medicine programme has begun its university journey, alongside students enrolled in the well-established English-taught Medicine and Dental Medicine programmes.

Meetings with the faculty leadership and the first moments spent together with fellow students marked the beginning of an experience that will mean much more than lectures, exams, and hours dedicated to medical study and practical training.

And to make the beginning a little easier, every first-year student received the International Medicine Freshmen Guide, a true first-year survival guide featuring useful information about university life and the UMPhST campus, places where students can study or have a meal, as well as insights into Targu Mures and the experiences the city has to offer, helping students make the most of their university experience beyond the lecture halls.
