În perioada februarie – iunie 2025, Compartimentul de Certificare Lingvistică organizează examene pentru obținerea certificatelor lingvistice (limba engleză generală, limba engleză medicală, limba franceză generală, limba germană generală, limba italiană generală, limba română) conform calendarului de mai jos. Înscrierile se fac la adresa ccl@umfst.ro cu dovada achitării taxei de examinare (contravaloarea a €80 pentru nivel B1/ B2 sau contravaloarea a €100 pentru nivel C1/ C2) cerere de înscriere și copia actului de identitate.

LIMBA ENGLEZĂ MEDICALĂ

MEM1

This course is designed to familiarise the learners with medical terminology. Emphasis is placed on the spelling, definition, pronunciation, and usage of medical terms. Upon completion, the student should be able to communicate effectively using medical terminology.

Course Description
Acquire a medical terminology vocabulary related to body systems. Learn and practice the principles of medical words formation, including the basic rules of building medical words, identifying suffixes, prefixes, and combining forms related to the structures and functions of the associated systems of the body. Statement of course completion is awarded on successful course completion. A certificate is awarded after passing the final examination. Entry CERF level: B2

Learning outcomes
After successfully completing this course, the learner will be able to:

  • display a working knowledge of basic medical terminology
  • correctly pronounce basic medical terminology
  • combine various word elements to make up medical terms
  • describe how word parts are put together to form medical terms
  • use prefixes and suffixes that are added to word roots to extend or change their meaning
  • break down medical terms in order to understand them
  • correctly spell basic medical terminology
  • define the meaning of basic medical terminology

Learn and practice the common phrases doctors and patients use in their communication. Statement of course completion is awarded on successful course completion. A certificate is awarded after passing the final examination. Entry CERF level: B2

Learning outcomes

After successfully completing this course, the learner will be able to:

  • display a working knowledge of medical terminology
  • acquire English from a wide variety of medical fields and situations
  • develop learners’ communication skills
  • help learners cope with medical reading of different types
  • provide learners with background in major medical and care concepts

Compartimentul de Certificare Lingvistică organizează cursuri de limba română nivel A1/A2 cu durata de 8 săptămâni – 3 ore pe săptămână (total: 24 de ore) în perioada 21 noiembrie 2022 – 3 februarie 2023. Taxa cursului este de 500 de lei, taxa de înscriere este de 50 de lei și este nerambursabilă în cazul nealcătuirii grupului. Înscrierile se fac până cel târziu vineri 18 noiembrie 2022 pe adresa ccl@umfst.ro cu un act de identitate în termen de valabilitate și dovada achitării taxei de înscriere în valoare de 50 de lei. Pe chitanță se va menționa: numele cursantului,  Compartimentul de Certificare Lingvisticătaxă curs limba română.

The Department for Language Certification organises A1/A2 level Romanian language courses lasting 8 weeks – 3 hours per week (totalling 24 hours) between November 21 2022 and February 3 2023. The course fee is 500 lei, registration fee is 50 leis. The registration fee will not be reimbursed if there are insufficient applicants for the group. Registrations are made no later than Friday, November 18 2022 by e-mail to ccl@umfst.ro with the copy of a valid identity card and proof of payment of the 50 lei registration fee. The receipt will include the following details: name of the course participant, Compartimentul de Certificare Lingvistică, taxă curs limba română.
