On Wednesday, 4 June 2025, a Collaboration Protocol Agreement was signed between G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures and the Romanian Digitalisation Authority (RDA). This agreement will facilitate cooperation to support and accelerate the digital transformation of the „George Emil Palade” Hospital – Romania’s first Smart Hospital – through pioneering solutions in e-health, telemedicine, automation, and advanced applications of artificial intelligence.

The agreement was digitally signed by Professor Leonard Azamfirei, PhD, Rector of G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures, and Dragoș-Cristian Vlad, President of the RDA, during a videoconference meeting.
