Participants from 14 countries and 87 papers presented at the 19th edition of the International Conference “Interdisciplinarity in Engineering – Inter-Eng 2025”, themed “Educating the Engineers of Tomorrow for a More Competitive European Industry”.

The scientific event takes place on October 2–3, 2025, at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, G.E. Palade UMPhST Targu Mures.

The Inter-Eng 2025 edition also hosts the mid-term dissemination event of the Erasmus+ project FuturEng, entitled “Training the Future Biomedical Engineers”. The project, implemented between 2023 and 2026, is carried out by an international consortium of European universities and industrial partners from seven countries: Portugal, Austria, Lithuania, Malta, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Romania. The project is coordinated by G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures.
