G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures, through the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, hosted an international event organised by the ESTIEM LG Mureș Association, which is part of the ESTIEM network (European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management).

The event took place from 8th to 12th April 2025 and brought together students from Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, Spain, and Romania.

The agenda included professional training and personal development sessions, workshops on soft skills, leadership, and project management, interactive team-building activities, presentations on university-student-industry cooperation models within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, and cultural visits around Targu Mures.

Students had the opportunity to develop their communication, organisational, and strategic thinking skills while forming strong connections with their peers.

The event reaffirmed UMPhST’s and its students’ commitment to European education, international collaboration, and active involvement in fostering transversal skills essential for future engineering and industrial management professionals.
