G.E. Palade UMPhST of Targu Mures has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 11 universities within the DIVERSE – Digital and Innovative Venture Science Education for Resilient and Sustainable Entrepreneurship Alliance of European Universities.

The purpose of the collaboration agreement is to formalise the commitment to cooperate in internationalisation, education, and research activities. This includes mobility for students, faculty, and researchers, as well as the development of joint courses and curricula, and participation in EU-funded projects.

Since 2024, G.E. Palade UMPhST of Târgu Mureș has been part of the DIVERSE Alliance, which, along with its partners, creates a knowledge and research space with over 150,000 students and 15,000 academic staff. The Alliance’s project, which aims to become the leading network of European universities for venture science, has received the European Commission’s „Seal of Excellence” in recognition of the project’s quality.

The Alliance is composed of the following institutions: „George Emil Palade” University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Târgu Mureș (Romania), Algebra University (Croatia), PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Belgium), Fundación Universidad Europea del Atlántico (Spain), Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm (Germany), Griffith College (Ireland), SMK University of Applied Social Sciences (Lithuania), Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Istanbul Beykent University (Turkey), Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (Portugal), and Windesheim University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands).
