G.E. Palade UMPhST Targu Mures has won an Erasmus Mundus project for the development of its first joint-degree programme — Master Degree in International Business & Geopolitics, under the umbrella of the DIVERSE Alliance of European Universities.
The Erasmus Mundus programme fosters international collaboration, encourages students to experience diverse academic environments, to forge connections with students and professors worldwide, and to obtain a unique diploma recognised at international level.
This project aims to respond to the growing need for training professionals capable of understanding and acting strategically in a global context marked by geopolitical tensions and complex economic dynamics.
The master’s programme is to be implemented by a consortium of ten academic institutions: seven from Europe and three from the USA, Canada and China, thereby reinforcing the global and interdisciplinary nature of the programme: G.E. Palade UMPhST Targu Mures; Algebra Bernays University (Croatia); Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (Portugal); Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (Finland); Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences (Germany); Griffith College (Ireland); Fundacion Universidad Europea Del Atlantico (Spain); Bay Atlantic University Washington DC (USA); Toronto Metropolitan University (Canada); and University of Macau (China).
In this design phase of the project, all scientific and administrative aspects of the programme will be defined, including the curriculum, student mobility, and the implementation model.
The participation of UMPhST in this European project underlines its commitment to internationalisation and innovation in education, in alignment with the values promoted by the DIVERSE Alliance.
